Rune
Ezomyte runes are items that can be socketed into martial weapons, staves, wands, and armour. Socketed runes add an enchantment to the item, granting generic stats, based on the item type. Once socketed, runes cannot be removed, though they can be replaced by another rune or soul core. Doing so will not return the original rune. Runes are mechanically similar to soul cores and talismans.
Most runes are part of the core drop pool. Tiered runes (runes with lesser, regular, and greater variants) can be upgraded a tier higher by using three of the same runes in the Reforging Bench. Endgame runes can drop anywhere but cannot be upgraded into. Certain runes are found exclusively as a reward in The Phaaryl Megalith unique map.
Rune can be placed in the Socketables Stash Tab or the wildcard slots of the Currency Stash Tab, as well as stack like most currency.
