Not to be confused with Skill speed or Movement speed.
Action speed is a stat that affects the total time it takes for an entity to complete an animation.
Mechanics
Action speed is an overall multiplier affecting all animations including:
- Non-instant movement
- Skills with a use time
- Creating a portal
- Interacting with certain interactables like levers
Non-specific slow effects affect action speed. This includes:
- Chill
- Temporal Chains
- Zarokh's hourglass skill
When action speed is set to 0, no non-instant actions can be performed.
Slow effect penalties
The effect of slow is innately diminished based on enemy rarity:
- 15% less Slow effect on Magic monsters
- 30% less Slow effect on Rare monsters
- 50% less Slow effect on Unique monsters
Additionally, Slows have 10% less effect on all monsters for each player in the area beyond the first, up to 50% less with a party of six.
