Elemental Storm is a spell skill granted by the Stormweaver ascendancy notable Tempest Caller. This skill triggers when the user deals a Critical Hit with a spell. When triggered, it creates an elemental storm at the target location, dealing damage of the highest elemental damage of the hit that triggered it in that area for a duration. Enemies inside the storm are also Hindered.

Skill functions and interactions

Creates a stationary Fire, Cold or Lightning storm at a target location for a duration, based on the highest Elemental Damage type for the Hit that Triggered the storm. Hits which do not deal Elemental Damage will not Trigger the storm.

While it is usually desirable to create storms of a single, favored element, if a Stormweaver wants a mix of Elemental Storms, the Painter's Servant unique gloves and/or Elemental Conflux passive buff skill can be useful.

Despite Elemental Storm's Orb tag, it does not boost the damage of Eye of Winter. This may be a bug.

Despite the 0.1.0d patch notes claiming to have fixed it, Elemental Storm still sometimes appears beneath the Stormweaver, instead of at the targeted location. This is definitely a bug.
