Dark Effigy is a skill that summons a totem that fires projectiles at enemies affected by chaos damage over time effects, bombarding the area and dealing chaos damage.

Skill functions and interactions

  • Dark Effigy totems attack each enemy in range at a rate of X attacks per second, where X is the amount of Chaos DoT effects the enemy currently has applied to it. Valid effects include effects applied by specific skills, such as Contagion and Essence Drain, as well as Poison or Curses with the Decaying Hex support gem slotted. Despite not being displayed as a debuff, Profane Ritual is also counted as a unique debuff.
  • Vile Effusion inherits all currently active modifiers from the character as if it were cast as a spell. Any modifiers to the number of projectiles will not apply to Vile Effusion, but all projectile modifiers will be applied.
