Patch notes

These are the official patch notes for Path of Exile 2 version 0.4.0 released by Grinding Gear Games.[1]

The Fate of the Vaal League

Start fresh in a new economy with The Fate of the Vaal league. All of your old characters from Early Access are still present in the Early Access leagues but a free passive tree refund has been granted due to the changes. We would highly encourage you to join the new leagues to fully take in the changes we've made with the 0.4.0 update.

  • In the Fate of the Vaal league you will find remnants of the ancient Vaal civilisation scattered throughout Wraeclast.
  • Now that corruption has returned to the land, the long-dead Vaal structures throughout Wraeclast are activating and affecting nearby creatures. Sacrifice the afflicted monsters to power the devices, and travel to Lira Vaal, the ancient temple of Atziri. Gather enough power to modify the Temple and create your desired layout. Each room in the Temple offers great rewards, from stashes of currency and equipment to something more interesting. Placing rooms next to other rooms that benefit them will level them up, adding new challenges and rewards to find. Complete more beacons to get more energy to fuel more additions to the temple. Explore the Queen of the Vaal's opulent temple during the height of her power in the capital of the ancient empire. With the power of the Beast, Atziri plans to risk her entire civilization in pursuit of eternal youth. Can she be stopped? Her Royal Architect and devoted followers will work against you, but perhaps the past is not set in stone…
  • There are Standard, Hardcore and Solo Self-Found variations of The Fate of the Vaal League available. They have the same core mechanics and items, and you can create private league versions of these leagues.

New Content and Features

  • Added a new playable character class, the Druid.
  • Added the new Oracle and Shaman Ascendancy Classes for the Druid.
  • Added over 20 new Skills, primarily Primal Skills.
  • Added over 35 new Supports.
  • Also introduced over 8 new Lineage Supports, much more powerful Supports that are only available in Endgame.
  • Added over 250 new passive skills to the passive tree.
  • Added over 10 new Unique Items.
  • Added a new weapon class: Talismans. Talismans are two-handed martial weapons that are used for shapeshifting attacks. Equipping a talisman shapeshifts you into an animal form and grants you a basic attack skill for that form. You can swap your chosen form at any time.
  • Added 4 new Augment items with new modifiers that you can craft onto your items.
  • Continued to incrementally improve the sound, art, effects and environments.

Abyss as a Core Mechanic

General Improvements

Significant optimizations to CPU performance have been made. These changes both improve the speed of key operations, and allow us to utilise more of your CPU cores, resulting in higher frame rates. Overall, you should get at least a 25% boost, and significantly less frame spikes when CPU bound. This is especially impactful for heavy gameplay situations. Note that if you are GPU bound, you will not see any improvement from these changes. When GPU bound, lowering render resolution or using Dynamic Resolution will improve performance.

Player Changes

  • Tailwind now grants 1% increased movement speed, 2% increased Skill Speed (previously 3%), 10% increased Evasion Rating (previously 15%) and prevent 1% of Damage from Deflected Hits per stack.
  • Base unarmed attack time is now 1.65 attacks per second (previously 1.4).
  • Modifiers to the number of enemies required to be considered Surrounded can no longer reduce the required number of enemies below 1.
  • Rage regeneration now pauses rage decay similarly to other means of gaining rage. This means that your rage will never decay while it is regenerating.
  • All rage spending costs have been changed to 10 rage. Rage no longer causes a visual effect on your character until you have 10 or more Rage so that you know that you can use these abilities.
  • Physical Damage Reduction from Armour can no longer cause a hit to deal 0 damage. This is mostly targeted at preventing cases where multi-hitting player skills could deal 0 damage to armoured monsters at very low levels. In these cases, the hit will now deal 1 damage.
  • Igniting aura effects, including Ignited Ground, no longer apply infinite ignites. Instead they apply regular ignites with standard duration, and will reapply them after they expire the next time the aura applies flammability to that target (the same as if Ignite had been removed from the target).

Ascendancy Changes

All Skills granted by an Ascendency are now automatically activated when granted (some previously required the player to manually activate them).

Deadeye

  • Wind Ward has been Removed.
  • Bullseye now requires Called Shots. Bullseye now applies 10 Critical Weakness (previously 5).
  • Added a new Mirage Deadeye Ascendancy Passive Skill which grants the Mirage Deadeye Meta Skill. Mirage Deadeye: While active, firing a Ranged Attack Projectile will create a Mirage that uses socketed Ranged Attacks for a short duration, then vanishes. You cannot create another Mirage for a short time after initially creating one.

Pathfinder

  • Contagious Contamination has been Removed.
  • Practical Remedies has been Removed.
  • Running Assault now also grants Cannot be Heavy Stunned while Sprinting.
  • Added a new Path Seeker multi-choice Ascendancy Passive Skill with the following choices: Path of the Warrior - Can Allocate Passives from the Warrior's starting point, Path of the Sorceress - Can Allocate Passives from the Sorceress's starting point. Each choice also Grants 4 Passive Skill Points.
  • Traveller's Wisdom now requires Path Seeker. Traveller's Wisdom now instead grants Attribute Passive Skills offer additional Options:

  • 5% increased Global Defences
  • 5% increased Cost Efficiency

Amazon

  • Elemental Surge reworked:

Ritualist

  • Ritual Sacrifice Stolen Modifier duration is 82-120 seconds from Gem level 1-20 (previously 15-19.75). Quality is now +20 seconds to Stolen Modifier duration (previously +2).
  • Corrupted Lifeforce now also has You deal 15% more Damage to Enemies Affected by Blood Boil.

Warbringer

  • Imploding Impacts now also grants Fully Broken Armour you inflict increases all Damage Taken from Hits instead.
  • The Ancestral Warhorn minion summoned by Warbringer's Answered Call notable now more consistently hits close-up enemies with the second part of its slam attack.

Titan

  • Surprising Strength has been removed.
  • Crushing Impacts now also Grants 25% more Damage against Heavy Stunned Enemies.
  • Added a new Mountain Splitter Ascendancy Passive Skill which grants Every Third Slam Skill that doesn't create Fissures which you use yourself causes 1 additional Aftershock ahead and to each side of the initial area. Requires Crushing Impacts.

Smith of Kitava

  • Each Notable connected to the Smith's Masterwork Notable now grants +200 to Armour in addition to its other bonuses.
  • Padded Plates has been removed.
  • Lead Lining has been removed.
  • Heavy Bracing has been removed.
  • Added Kitavan Imprint in place of Padded Plates, which causes your Body Armour to grant 60% increased Glory Generation.
  • Added Spiked Plates in place of Lead Lining, which causes your Body Armour to grant 100% increased Thorns Damage.
  • Added Tribute to Utula in place of Heavy Bracing, which causes your Body Armour to grant 30% increased Spirit.
  • Internal Layer now reduces Critical Damage taken by 100% (previously 50%).
  • Heatproofing now causes your Body Armour to grant the bonus of being Unaffected by all Damaging Ailments (previously just ignite).
  • The Fire Spell on Melee Hit Skill granted by Heat of the Forge on Smith of Kitava now costs no mana when triggering Socketed Spells. It also now gains 10% increased Damage per Level, up to 200% increased Damage at gem level 20.
  • The Temper Weapon Skill granted by Against the Anvil on Smith of Kitava now costs no mana. The Combust triggered by it's Empowered Attacks now deal 25% more Damage at all Levels and has a base radius of 3 Metres (previously 2.5 metres).
  • The Manifest Weapon Skill granted by Living Weapon on Smith of Kitava now changes target less frequently, and thus spends more time actively attacking. Additionally:
  • As a Mace, now has a cooldown of 6 seconds (from 10 seconds) for its Slam Skill.
  • As a Quarterstaff, now has a cooldown of 6 seconds (from 10 seconds) on its Sweep Skill.
  • As a Spear, fixed a bug where the damage dealt while it was Dashing towards enemies didn't cover the full distance of the Dash.

Infernalist

  • Seething Body no longer grants While on High Infernal Flame, you and Allies in your Presence Gain 50% of Damage as Fire Damage. Seething Body now grants Gain Elemental Archon when you cast a Spell while on High Infernal Flame. Elemental Archon does not expire while on High Infernal Flame. Lose Elemental Archon on reaching maximum Infernal Flame.

Blood Mage

  • Whispers of the Flesh now also grants Targets Cursed by you have 100% reduced Life Regeneration Rate.

Stormweaver

  • Refracted Infusion now grants: When collecting an Elemental Infusion, gain another different Elemental Infusion (previously 50% chance).
  • Storms Recollection now also grants Remnants can be collected from 50% further away.
  • Multiplying Squalls now grants +2 to Limit of Elemental Skills (previously 1).

Chronomancer

  • Inevitable Agony granted by Inevitability has been updated:
  • Now ignores the Curse Limit.
  • Now causes Cursed Targets to take 50% of Hit Damage dealt to them while Cursed again when Curse expires (previously 20% at Gem level 1, scaling to 33% by Gem level 20).

Gemling Legionnaire

  • Thaumaturgical Infusion now grants: +1% to Maximum Cold Resistance per 3 Blue Support Gems Socketed (previously 4). +1% to Maximum Fire Resistance per 3 Red Support Gems Socketed (previously 4). +1% to Maximum Lightning Resistance per 3 Green Support Gems Socketed (previously 4).
  • Thaumaturgical Dynamism granted by Advanced Thaumaturgy Notable Passive Skill now generates a Charge once every five seconds (previously once every eight seconds).

Tactician

  • The Supporting Fire Skill granted by Unleash Hell! Notable Passive Skill has been updated: Command: Death From Above Cooldown is now 20 seconds (previously 40). Now fires a Volley every 0.75 seconds (previously every 2 seconds). Now fires 6 total Volleys (previously 4). Now has 14 metre width (previously 7.5 metre width). Attack Damage is now 763% (previously 1140%).
  • Strategic Embankments Notable Passive Skill has been updated:
  • Artillery Ballista no longer grants 40% increased Immobilisation Buildup, now grants 20% increased Skill Speed.
  • Siege Ballista no longer grants 50% increased Damage against Immobilised Enemies, now grants 25% more Damage against Immobilised Enemies.
  • Mortar Cannon now grants 25% of Damage Gained as extra Fire, from 15%.

Passive Skill Tree Changes

With the addition of the Druid and other new game mechanics we've added passive support for these throughout the Passive Skill Tree. There are many new clusters, mostly in the Druid area of the tree, and many existing Passive Skills have been updated. These changes may result in your existing passive tree being forcefully refunded if you had allocated nodes around the areas where the layout changed.

  • Added more than 250 new Passive Skills to the Druid side of the passive tree.
  • The values of Flammability Magnitude on the Passive Tree have been increased massively.
  • All instances of gaining Flame, Ice and Lightning Archon have been changed to gain Elemental Archon, to better support builds using multiple Elements. Archon related passives on the tree have been adjusted accordingly and condensed.
  • The Hollow Palm Technique Keystone now Grants 1% more Attack Speed per 75 Item Evasion Rating on Equipped Armour Items (previously 25). Base unarmed attack time is now 1.65 attacks per second (previously 1.4).
  • The Walker of the Wilds Keystone has been removed from the passive tree and its effects have been moved onto a newly added Lineage Support.
  • The Elemental Equilibrium Keystone now grants Cold Infusion Remnants you create are instead Fire, Fire Infusion Remnants you create are instead Lightning, Lightning Infusion Remnants you create are instead Cold.
  • The Crimson Assault Keystone Passive Skill now also grants 50% more Magnitude of Bleeding you inflict.
  • Passives that granted reduced Movement Speed Penalty from using Skills while moving on the Passive Tree have had their values lowered. More passives on the tree now grant the stat to make up for some of this.
  • Added 3 new Attack Area of Effect Clusters to the Monk part of the Passive Tree.
  • Added two projectile speed clusters to the Passive Tree in the Mercenary section.
  • Added a new bow cluster and modified a projectile cluster in the ranger section of the tree, granting Surpassing chance to fire an additional Arrow.

    support now actually makes aftershocks, allowing interaction with aftershock-specific area and damage modifiers. Previously it was actually a variant of Melee Splash, which did not benefit from those. This also allows a strike to cause both an Impact Shockwave aftershock, and melee splash, from the same hit.
  • Impact Shockwave can now support non-strike Wind attacks.

Skill Changes

  • The Frozen Mandibles monster can once again no longer be bound as a Spectre or Tamed Beast.
  • Buffed Summon Spectre variants of certain monsters in each Act and their Endgame variants. Further details on which monsters have been adjusted will be posted separately prior to release.
  • Palm Skill movement has been adjusted to reduce cases in which the player successfully uses the Skill but fails to Hit the enemy after dashing.
  • Ice Fragments (created by skills such as from Escape Shot and Ice-Tipped Arrows) are now only able to hit each enemy once per group of Fragments created.
  • The per-target hit limits on Firestorm, Icestorm, Rain of Arrows and Hailstorm Rounds are now displayed.
  • Whirlwinds now take on elements from overlapping allied Elemental Ground for 8 seconds (previously 4).
  • Added [Wind] type to the following Skills: Twister, Whirling Slash, Wind Blast, Wing Blast, Whirlwind Lance, Wind Serpent's Fury, Tornado, Tornado Shot, the Projectiles created by Staggering Palm
  • Fixed the following skills having modifiable Limits that were not described as Limits: Frozen Locus, Earthquake, Earthshatter, Shield Wall. These skills can also now be supported by Overabundance.
  • Acidic Concoction can no longer Consume Poison nor trigger Acidic Burst from inanimate objects (like Vine Arrow's plant).
  • Invocation skills now have 0.2 second cooldowns.
  • Freezing Salvo is now offered as a Tier III Skill Gem.
  • Wind Blast is now offered as a Tier III Skill Gem.
  • Attrition is now offered as a Tier IV Spirit Gem.
  • Vaulting Impact is now offered as a Tier V Skill Gem.
  • Ice-Tipped Arrows is now offered as a Tier V Skill Gem.
  • Ancestral Cry: Volcanic Eruption now deals 165-211% of Attack Damage (previously 82-105%) at Gem levels 13-20. Now triggers Volcanic Steps every 1.2 metres travelled (previously on footstep).
  • Ancestral Warrior Totem: No longer has 25% less Totem Attack Speed.
  • Arc: Now has 50% increased Magnitude of Shock inflicted, instead of 50% more Magnitude of Shock inflicted.
  • Arctic Armour: Now deals 8 to 12 Cold Damage per Stage at Gem level 4 (previously 16 to 24), scaling to 101 to 152 Cold Damage per Stage at Gem level 20 (previously 203 to 304). Now has 100% more Freeze Buildup. Now has 100% more Magnitude of Chill inflicted.
  • Armour Breaker: Now deals 61-181% of Attack Damage (previously 60-156%) at Gem levels 3-20. Hits now break 11-4918 Armour (previously 11-4098) at Gem levels 3-20.
  • Attrition: Now reserves 30 spirit (previously 60).
  • Ball Lightning: Now deals 2 to 33 Lightning Damage at Gem level 11 (previously 1 to 19), scaling up to 6 to 105 Lightning Damage at Gem level 20 (previously 4 to 70). Now has 375% more chance to Shock (previously 750%). Fire-Infused Explosion now deals 166 to 249 Fire Damage at Gem level 11 (previously 90 to 135), scaling up to 570 to 856 Fire Damage at Gem level 20 (previously 287 to 431). Ignited Ground now ignites as though dealing 200 to 300 Fire Damage at Gem level 11 (previously 114 to 172), scaling to 744 to 1116 Fire Damage at Gem level 20 (previously 425 to 638).
  • Barrier Invocation: Now reserves 30 spirit (previously 60).
  • Cast on Minion Death: Now reserves 30 spirit (previously 60).
  • Charge Regulation: No longer grants more Skill Speed while you have a Frenzy Charge. Now grants 24-25% increased Skill Speed while you have a Frenzy Charge at Gem levels 14-20.
  • Comet: Fire-Infused Comet now deals 279 to 418 Fire and Cold Damage at Gem level 11 (previously 149 to 223), scaling to 1036 to 1554 Fire and Cold Damage at Gem level 20 (previously 553 to 829).
  • Detonating Arrow: Now deals 99-192% of Attack Damage (previously 82-159%) at Gem levels 9-20.
  • Disengage: Now grants two frenzy charges on Consuming the Parried Debuff at Gem level 8 up to three frenzy charges at Gem level 16.
  • Elemental Conflux: Now has a Reservation of 60 spirit (previously 100).
  • Elemental Invocation: Now has 25-68% increased Energy gained at Gem levels 8-20 (previously 12-57%).
  • Electrocuting Arrow: Now has an Attack Speed of 110% of base (previously 80%). Now deals 114-250% of Attack Damage (previously 128-281%) at Gem levels 5-20. Projectile now converts 80% of Physical damage to Lightning damage (previously 50%).
  • Escape Shot: Ice Fragments now have an Explosion radius of 2 metres (previously 1.5 metres). Ice Fragments now deal 45-131% of Attack Damage at Gem levels 1-20 (previously 55-172%). Now fires 3 Ice Fragment projectiles (previously 4). Now has equal Magnitude of Chill inflicted as Freeze Buildup.
  • Explosive Spear: Now gains +1 limit of lodged Spears every 8 Gem levels. Frenzy-Charge-Empowered explosion now deals 200-724% of Attack Damage (previously 150-543%) at Gem levels 1-20. Now has 100% increased Ignite effect (previously 0%). Frenzy-Charge-Empowered explosion length now increases with level from 4-5.9 metres at Gem levels 1-20. Updated explosion visuals.
  • Eye of Winter: Eye Projectile now travels a much longer distance. Eye Projectile now has 25% less base projectile speed. Cooldown is now 10 seconds (previously 15).
  • Fangs of Frost: Now has 106-157% more Freeze Buildup (previously 68-107%) at Gem levels 3-20. Explosion now has 212-314% more Freeze Buildup (previously 304-428%) at Gem levels 3-20. Now has equal Magnitude of Chill inflicted as Freeze Buildup. Explosion Chilled Ground is now 8 seconds (previously 4).
  • Flameblast: Cooldown Time is now 10 seconds (previously 15).
  • Fragmentation Rounds: Now has Bolts Pierce 2 targets at Gem level 1 scaling to Bolts Pierce 5 targets at Gem level 24 (previously 2 at all Gem levels). Base projectile speed has been increased by 50%.
  • Freezing Mark: No longer causes an explosion. Instead, Freezing the marked target grants a Buff that grants damage extra as Cold damage for a duration, or until you mark another target.
  • Frostbolt: Now has 120-195% more Magnitude of Chill inflicted at Gem levels 5-20. No longer has Chills Enemies as though dealing more damage.
  • Frost Wall: Lightning-Infused Frostwall now deals 5 to 103 Lightning Damage at Gem level 9 (previously 4 to 68), scaling up to 23 to 444 Lightning Damage at Gem level 20 (previously 15 to 292). Now has equal Magnitude of Chill inflicted as Freeze Buildup.
  • Frozen Locus: No longer deals 80% less damage if destroyed within 0.5 seconds by something other than you. No Longer creates chilled ground. Ice Crystal no longer has collision. Now correctly works with increases to Limit. Frozen Locus Ice Crystals no longer have a hidden less damage taken from allies. Instead they now have a hidden more damage taken from monsters and the life of the Frozen Locus Ice Crystal has been greatly increased at later levels. This change has been made to make Frozen Locus stronger with things that scale off Ice Crystal life, while keeping the amount of damage to destroy the crystal from both players and monsters roughly the same. Frozen Locus Ice Crystal has 27-9536 maximum Life (from 430-1364).
  • Gathering Storm: Perfect Timing window has been increased. Now has a much higher dash range. Shockwave now has Maximum 20 shockwaves per use (previously 8). Quality now grants Maximum +8 shockwaves per use (previously 2).
  • Ghost Dance: Now has Maximum 3 Ghost Shrouds at all gem levels (previously 3-5 at gem levels 1-20). Duration between gaining Ghost Shrouds is now 7.6-6.1 seconds (previously 3.85-3.05) at Gem levels 4-20. Quality now instead provides 0-20% increased Reservation Efficiency.
  • Glacial Cascade: Wave now Converts 80% of Physical damage to Cold damage (previously 60%). Final Burst now Converts 100% of Physical damage to Cold damage (previously 60%).
  • Glacial Lance: Frenzy-Charge-Empowered explosion now deals 213-670% of Attack Damage (previously 274-598%) at Gem levels 7-20. Attack speed is now 60% of base (previously 50%). Now has 118-157% more Freeze Buildup (previously 68-107%) at Gem levels 7-20. Explosion now has 168-364% more Freeze Buildup (previously 116-214%) at Gem levels 7-20. Now has equal Magnitude of Chill inflicted as Freeze Buildup. Now Converts 80% of Physical damage to Cold damage (previously 60%).
  • Hailstorm Rounds: Now stores 40-50 (previously 20-25) bolts at Gem level 11-20 . Now has an Attack Damage of 132-228% (previously 146-254%) at Gem levels 11-20. Now has 150% more reload speed (previously 100%). Now has equal Magnitude of Chill inflicted as Freeze Buildup.
  • Herald of Thunder: Now has an Attack Damage of 40%-122% (previously 47-143%) at Gem levels 4-20.
  • Hexblast: Now has Maximum 10 Explosions per cast (previously 3).
  • Ice Nova: Cold-Infused Ice Nova explosion and Chilled Ground radius are now 4.8 metres (previously 3.2). Cold-Infused Ice Nova now Deals 15 to 22 Cold Damage at Gem level 1 (previously 13-20), scaling to 448 to 672 Cold Damage at Gem level 20 (previously 394 to 591). Cold-Infused Ice Nova now has +0.5 seconds to Cast Time.
  • Ice Shards: Skill description now correctly states it Cannot Chain and Projectiles target the ground. Shards now have 400% more damage 2 seconds after arming (previously 300% more damage 3 seconds after arming). Shard Explosion radius is now 2.5 metres (previously 1.4).
  • Ice Shot: Now converts 80% of Physical damage to Cold damage (previously 70%). Cone Angle increased by approximately 50%.
  • Ice Tipped Arrows: Now has a duration of 20 seconds (previously 8). Ice Fragments Explosion radius is now 1.8 metres (from 1.3). Empowered Attacks also gain 100% of Physical Damage converted to Cold Damage.
  • Incendiary Shot: Now consumes 15 Heat to gain 100% more Ignite Magnitude (previously 30 Heat to gain 50% more Ignite Magnitude).
  • Incinerate: Now additionally deals 11.1 Fire Damage per second at Gem level 1, scaling to 57.5 Fire Damage per second at Gem level 20. Ignited Ground duration is now 8 seconds (previously 4).
  • Killing Palm: Now grants a power charge if a cullable enemy dies while you are dashing to them. Now also quickly Dashes and Strikes additional valid targets.
  • Lightning Arrow: No longer bypasses the charge-up time on Lightning Rod's burst. Instead, The burst caused by Lightning Arrow can occur once every 0.1 seconds. Projectile now converts 80% of Physical damage to Lightning damage (previously 40%). Beam now converts 100% of Physical damage to Lightning damage (previously 80%).
  • Lightning Conduit: Now provides 10% more damage with Hits per 5% Shock Effect on Enemy (previously 20%). Quality now provides 0-20% More Lightning Damage, instead of 0-5% more damage with Hits per 5% Shock Effect on Enemy.
  • Lightning Rod: The Limit of active Lightning Rods allowed is now 10 (previously 20).
  • Lightning Warp: Explosion and Shocked Ground radius is now 3 metres (previously 4). Shocked ground now lasts 8 seconds (previously 10). New additional behaviour: If used on an enemy that is not under the Cull threshold, it will now apply a Debuff that will cause its normal warping behaviour automatically if the enemy falls under the Cull threshold while the Debuff is active.
  • Lingering Illusion: Illusions now linger for 3 seconds (previously 1.2). Illusion now have 1% of your maximum Life (previously 15%). Lingering Illusion now causes its Illusions to drop a Remnant that grants a Power Charge on pickup, rather than granting a Power Charge when an Illusion was destroyed, these Remnants last for 5 seconds. Lingering Illusion now requires its Illusions to be destroyed by an enemy to drop its Remnant.
  • Living Bomb: Now deals 21 to 31 Fire Damage at Gem level 3 (previously 18 to 28), scaling to 481 to 721 Fire Damage at Gem level 20 (previously 340 to 510).
  • Magnetic Salvo: Explosion now converts 100% of Physical damage to Lightning damage (previously 40%).
  • Mana Tempest: Now has Effects of Mana Tempest linger for 2 seconds after leaving the Tempest.
  • Oil Grenade: Cooldown is now 4 seconds (previously 5). Oil and Oil ground duration is now 6 seconds (previously 5).
  • Perfect Strike: Now deals 157-343% of Attack Damage (previously 142-312%) at Gem levels 5-20.
  • Permafrost Bolts: Now has Projectiles Pierce 2 targets at Gem level 1 scaling to Projectiles Pierce 5 targets at Gem level 24. Base projectile speed has been increased by 50%. Now has equal Magnitude of Chill inflicted as Freeze Buildup.
  • Plasma Blast: Now has 50% increased Magnitude of Shock inflicted instead of 50% more Magnitude of Shock inflicted.
  • Primal Strikes: Final Strike now has +20 to Melee Strike Range (previously +5). Final Strike now inflicts Elemental Exposure on Hit, lowering Total Elemental Resistances by 50% (previously 20%).
  • Rain of Arrows: Now only Consumes one Frenzy Charge. Now deals 93-181% of Attack Damage (previously 88-132%) at Gem levels 9-20. Now Fires 150% more Arrows if a Frenzy Charge was consumed (previously 100%). Removed Fires 50% more Arrows per Frenzy Charge consumed.
  • Raise Zombie: Empowered Zombie now deals 122-253% more damage with Hits at Gem levels 5-20 (previously 100%).
  • Rapid Assault: Spearheads Explosion now deals 249-546% of Attack Damage (previously 142-312%) at Gem levels 5-20.
  • Reap: Now has a base critical hit chance of 14% (previously 11%)
  • Rhoa Mount: No longer increases your Movement Speed. Now has 100% reduced Movement Speed penalty from using Skills while mounted (previously 80%).
  • Sacrifice: Now grants Minions Revive 46-40% more Slowly (previously 66-60%) at Gem levels 14-20.
  • Skeletal Reaver: Now gain 6% increased attack speed per 2 rage, previously this was described on the gem but not functional.
  • Shard Scavenger: Buff duration is now 3 seconds (previously 2). Minimum duration between consumptions is now 6.65-6.05 seconds at Gem levels 8-20 (previously 7.65-7.05).
  • Shattering Palm: Now causes an explosion if the target dies while you are dashing to them.
  • Shockchain Arrow: Projectile now converts 80% of Physical damage to Lightning damage (previously 20%). Shockchain Arrow no longer releases secondary beams that continue to split. Instead, the initial projectile now consumes Shock to create a Chaining secondary projectile, which creates a Lightning Rod in the ground near its last target after its final chain. This secondary projectile does not consume Shock on targets hit. Shockwave now deals 293-507% of Attack damage at Gem levels 11-20 (previously 306-572%).
  • Shield Charge: Collision now deals 85-254% of Attack Damage (previously 73-217%) at Gem levels 3-20.
  • Siege Cascade: Now has 100% more damage against Immobilised enemies. Quality is now +0-40% more damage against Immobilised enemies (previously 0-80%).
  • Snipe: Icy blast now deals 644-2160% of Attack Damage at gem levels 3-20 (previously 560-1878%). Removed Heavy Blast and Heavy Stun interaction from the skill.
  • Soul Offering: Spike duration is now 6 seconds (previously 4).
  • Spark: Cold-Infused Spark now deals 7 to 11 Cold Damage at Gem level 1 (Unchanged), scaling up to 207 to 310 Cold Damage at Gem level 20 (previously 182 to 273). Cold-Infused Spark now deals 1 to 10 Lightning Damage at Gem level 1 (Unchanged), scaling up to 13 to 245 Lightning Damage at Gem level 20 (previously 11 to 216).
  • Spear of Solaris: Removed Generates 100% of Monster Power as Glory for this Skill on Heavy Stunning an enemy. Now generates 1 Glory when you inflict Freeze, Shock or Ignite on an enemy.
  • Spiral Volley: Now deals 146-206% of Attack Damage (previously 133-187%) at Gem levels 13-20.
  • Staggering Palm: Projectiles now deal 61-204% of Attack Damage at Gem levels 3-20. Staggering Palm's Projectile Buff's duration will now only start decreasing after the first Projectile has been generated. Staggering Palm now grants its buff if a primed enemy is stunned or killed while you are dashing to them. Now also quickly Dashes and Strikes additional valid targets.
  • Storm Lance: Frenzy-Charge-Empowered lance shocked ground duration is now 8 seconds (previously 6).
  • Stormcaller Arrow: Projectile now converts 80% of Physical damage to Lightning damage (previously 40%). Bolt now has Shocks Enemies as though dealing 50% more Damage. Bolt now converts 100% of Physical damage to Lightning damage (previously 80%).
  • Sunder: Now has 40% of base attack speed (previously 35%).
  • Supercharged Slam: Now has an attack time override of 0.85 seconds (previously 1 second).
  • Tempest Bell: Impact radius is now 2.1 metres (previously 1.8). Bell shockwave radius is now 2.6 metres (previously 2.4). Tempest Bell's Hitbox has been increased.
  • Thunderous Leap: Now has 100% more chance to Shock at all levels.
  • Toxic Domain: Now grants Regenerate 54-82 life per second at Gem levels 13-20 (previously 27-41). Pustule explosion mechanics are now consistent across skills, pustules have a base Detonation duration of 15 seconds which can be caused to Detonate faster by poisoning the pustules, resulting in a more violent explosion.
  • Toxic Growth: Now has Limit 12 Pustules (previously 8). Now fires 4 Pustules (previously 8). Now has 100% of base Attack Speed (previously 80%).
  • Vaulting Impact: Broken Stance (applied by Vaulting Impact) now has a 60-second duration and is removed after taking 10 Hits (previously uncapped number of Hits within a shorter duration). The amount of pre-mitigated Physical Damage stored by Broken Stance is now 10% (previously 5%). Vaulting Impact's Quality stat now increases the number of Hits Broken Stance takes before being removed by 0-2 (previously increased Broken Stance's duration 0-2s).
  • Vine Arrow: Now gains +1 to Limit of Plants at Gem levels 12 and 19.
  • Volcanic Fissure: Now deals 101-166% of Attack Damage (previously 88-145%) at Gem levels 7-20.
  • Voltaic Grenade: Now has 3 uses (previously 2). Cooldown is now 4 seconds (previously 5).
  • Voltaic Mark: No longer makes the target susceptible to Shock or causes an explosion. Instead, makes the target more susceptible to being Electrocuted, and on Electrocuting a marked target, grants you a Buff with which you Gain extra damage as Lightning damage, for a duration, or until you mark another target.
  • Wave of Frost: Now can be used to cancel other actions. Now has equal Magnitude of Chill inflicted as Freeze Buildup.
  • Whirling Assault: Baseline movement of Whirling Assault has been reworked to be more fluid. Now has +1 second to Total Attack Time (previously 1.4). Now has +14 to Melee Strike Range at all Gem levels. Now has +1% more Area of Effect per Gem level.
  • Wind Dancer: Gale Force now deals 27%-82% of Attack Damage at Gem Levels 4-20 (previously 53%-163%).

  • Greater Rune of Nobility now grants 10% chance to inflict Elemental Exposure instead of Lightning Exposure.
  • The modifiers for "Bow Attacks fire X additional Arrows" on Bows have been disabled.
  • A new modifier has been added to Bows " +X% Surpassing Chance to fire an additional arrow":
  • "of Surplus" (25 - 50%)
  • "of Splintering" (75 - 100%)
  • "of Shards" (125 - 150%)
  • "of Many" (175 - 200%)
  • Spell Damage, Specific Damage Type, Damage as Extra Elemental Damage mods on Staves are now 33% stronger on average. Existing items can be updated using a Divine Orb.
  • Magnitude of Damaging Ailments desecrated mod on staves now rolls from 40 to 64 (previous 31 to 49). Existing items can be updated using a Divine Orb.
  • Spell Damage with Spells that cost life desecrated mod on Staves now rolls from 121 to 154 (previously 91 to 116).
  • Foci can no longer roll the top 2 tiers of spell damage and specific damage modifiers.
  • Cultist Focus now provides 53 Energy Shield (previously 49).
  • Druidic Focus now provides 58 Energy Shield (previously 52).
  • Leyline Focus now provides 66 Energy Shield (previously 58).
  • Sacred Focus now provides 75 Energy Shield (previously 63).
  • Tasalian Focus now provides 85 Energy Shield (previously 68).
  • Totemic Great Club now has "Warcries Empower an additional attack" (previously Crushes Enemies on Hit), and now has 77-105 damage (previously 73-99). Existing items will not have this implicit.
  • Forge Maul now has the implicit modifiers "Crushes Enemies on Hit" and now has 26-35 damage (previously 29-39). Existing items will not have this implicit.
  • Anvil Maul now has the implicit modifiers "Crushes Enemies on Hit" and now has 101-136 damage (previously 112-151). Existing items will not have this implicit.
  • Oak Greathammer now has 16-30 damage (from 14-26) has 1 attacks per second (previously 1.05), this is a ~10% damage increase. Increased stun build up implicit has been lowered to 20-40% (previously 30-50%) to compensate.
  • Ironwood Greathammer now has 105-196 damage (from 94-174) and has 1 attacks per second (previously 1.05).
  • Cultist Greathammer now has 36-49 damage (from 32-43) and Fanatic Greathammer now has 101-137 damage (from 89-120).
  • Crumbling Maul now has 8% critical strike chance (previously 5%).
  • Disintegrating Maul now has 8% critical strike chance (previously 5%) and deals 92-112 damage (previously 93-114).
  • Ruination Maul now has 8% critical strike chance (previously 5%) and deals 104-127 damage (previously 113-138).
  • Ironhead Spear and Steelhead Spear base damage range has been lowered, but total damage remains the same.
  • Winged Spear now has 1.7 attack speed (previously 1.65).
  • War Spear and Flying Spear now have approximately 5% more base damage.
  • Forked Spear, Branched Spear and Pronged Spear now have 1.55 Attacks per second (from 1.6) and have a much higher base damage range, but total damage remains the same.
  • Barbed Spear, Jagged Spear and Spiked Spear now have 1.5 attacks per second (from 1.6), 6% base critical strike chance (from 6.5%) and have gained the implicit "Bleeding you inflict deals damage 10-20% faster". Existing items will not have this implicit.
  • Broad Spear and Grand Spear now have 1.4 attacks per second (from 1.5), their damage has increased by approximately 10%, and they have gained the implicit "25% increased melee strike range with this weapon". Existing items will not have this implicit.
  • Crossblade Spear now has 1.6 attacks per second (from 1.55) and now has the Implicit "Prevent +3-7% of damage from deflected hits". Existing items will not have this implicit.
  • Seaglass Spear and Akoyan Spear now have 1.6 attacks per second (from 1.5), their base damage has decreased by approximately 6%.
  • Endgame versions of Winged Spear and Crossblade Spear have been added.
  • The 'of the Mage' modifier (+1 to all Spell Skill levels) on Focus and Amulet now has a level requirement of 10 (previously 5). Note, this will change the level Requirements of existing Items.
  • The 'of Coals' Modifier on Staves now grants +1 level to Fire Spells (from +2), this also applies to the equivalent Modifiers for Cold, Lightning, Chaos and Physical on Staves. Existing Items will not be affected by this change unless a Divine Orb is used.
  • The 'of Cinders' Modifier on Staves now grants +2 to level of Fire Spells (from +3), this also applies to the equivalent Modifiers for Cold, Lightning, Chaos and Physical on Staves. Existing Items will not be affected by this change unless a Divine Orb is used.
  • The 'of Flames' Modifier on Staves now grants +3 to +4 level of Fire Spells (from +4), this also applies to the equivalent Modifiers for Cold, Lightning, Chaos and Physical on Staves. Existing Items will not be affected by this change unless a Divine Orb is used.
  • The 'of the Mage' Modifier on Staves now grants +1 level to Spells (from +2). Existing Items will not be affected by this change unless a Divine Orb is used.
  • The 'of the Enchanter' Modifier on Staves now grants +2 to level of Fire Spells (from +3). Existing Items will not be affected by this change unless a Divine Orb is used.
  • The 'of the Evoker' Modifier on Staves now grants +3 to +4 level of Fire Spells (from +4). Existing Items will not be affected by this change unless a Divine Orb is used.
  • Perfect Essence of Battle now grants +3 to Level of all attack skills on one handed melee weapons and bows (from +4). You can make your item worse with a Divine Orb.
  • Perfect Essence of Battle now grants +5 to Level of all attack skills on two handed melee weapons and crossbows (from +6). You can make your item worse with a Divine Orb.
  • Lesser Essence of Sorcery now grants 69-88% increased Spell Damage (previously 50-64). Existing items can be updated using a Divine Orb. 50-64).
  • Essence of Sorcery now grants 109-128% increased Spell Damage (previously 80-94). Existing items can be updated using a Divine Orb. 80-94).
  • Greater Essence of Sorcery now grants 149-188% increased Spell Damage (previously 110-129). Existing items can be updated using a Divine Orb. 110-129).
  • The Perfect Essence of Battle now grants +3 to Level of all attack skills on one handed melee weapons and bows (from +4). You can make your item worse with a Divine Orb.
  • The Perfect Essence of Battle now grants +5 to Level of all attack skills on two handed melee weapons and crossbows (from +6). You can make your item worse with a Divine Orb.
  • Corsair Coat now grants 5% increased Movement Speed instead of reduced Movement Speed Penalty from using Skills while moving.
  • Farrul's Rune of Grace now grants 8% increased Deflection Rating while moving instead of reduced Movement Speed Penalty from using Skills while moving.
  • Grip of Kulemak can no longer roll reduced Movement Speed Penalty from using Skills while moving.
  • The Desecrated modifier on Amulets that granted Skills a chance to not consume Glory, now instead grants 20-30% chance for Skills to retain 40% of Glory on use. This affects existing items with these modifiers, and can be updated to the new values with a Divine Orb.
  • The Desecrated modifier granting reduced Movement Speed Penalty from using Skills has been removed.
  • Added a Relic Locker to every end-of-floor Reward room in the Trial of the Sekhemas.
  • Relic modifier "Light-footed" can no longer roll.
  • Relic modifier "Acrobatic" now grants "Traps deal (7-5)% reduced Damage" (previously 15-12%).
  • Relic modifier "Limber" now grants "Traps deal (10-8)% reduced Damage" (previously 15-12%).

Endgame Changes

Maps no longer scale pack size as you increase in tier, they instead increase non-unique monster Effectiveness. Effectiveness grants monsters increased life, increased experience granted and increased quantity of items dropped. Tablets now have a maximum of 4 modifiers. To unlock the ability to craft a tablet beyond 2 modifiers you need to have defeated the Arbiter of Ash.

  • Arbiter of Ash no longer drops a rare corrupted Tablet.

All Tablet modifiers that would roll on the generic "Precursor Tablet" can now roll on all tablet basetypes. The following Tablet modifiers have been disabled:

  • "Plundering" granting "4 to 10% increased Quantity of Items found in Map".
  • "of the Pursuit" granting "Delirious Monsters Killed in Map provide 10 to 30% increased Reward Progress".
  • "of Envy" granting "Delirium Encounters in affected Map have 8 to 24% chance to generate an additional Reward".

Added new Tablet modifiers:

  • "Challenger's" which grants "7 to 11% increased Effectiveness of Monsters in your Maps".
  • "of Contest" which grants "Unique Monsters in your Maps have 1 additional Rare Modifier".

Re-enabled the following modifier:

  • "of Undertaking" which grants "Map has 1 to 2 additional random Modifiers".

The following Tablet modifiers have been buffed:

  • "Collector's" now grants "18 to 30% increased Rarity of Items found in Map" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "Breeding" now grants "6 to 10% increased Pack Size in Map" (previously 4 to 10%).
  • "Teeming" now grants "Map has 50 to 70% increased Magic Monsters" (previously 25 to 70%).
  • "Brimming" now grants "Map has 25 to 40% increased number of Rare Monsters" (previously 15 to 40%).
  • "Bountiful" now grants "25 to 40% increased Gold found in Map" (previously 15 to 40%).
  • "Elevated" now grants "10 to 20% increased Experience gain in Map" (previously 5 to 20%).
  • "Treasurer's" now grants "Map contains 2 to 3 additional Rare Chests" (previously 1 to 3).
  • "of the Cartographer" now grants "30 to 50% increased Quantity of Waystones found in Map" (previously 20 to 50%).
  • "of the Nemesis" now grants "Rare Monsters in Map have a 50 to 80% chance to have an additional Modifier" (previously 30 to 80%).
  • "of Shrines" now grants "Map has 70 to 100% increased chance to contain Shrines" (previously 50 to 100%).
  • "of Strongboxes" now grants "Map has 70 to 100% increased chance to contain Strongboxes" (previously 50 to 100%).
  • "of the Essence" now grants "Map has 70 to 100% increased chance to contain Essences" (previously 50 to 100%).
  • "of Spirits" now grants "Map has 70 to 100% increased chance to contain Azmeri Spirits" (previously 50 to 100%).
  • "of the Exile" now grants "Map has 35 to 50% increased chance to contain Rogue Exiles" (previously 25 to 50%).
  • "of the Summoning" now grants "Map has 35 to 50% increased chance to contain a Summoning Circle" (previously 25 to 50%).
  • "of the Horde" now grants Breaches in Map spawn 40 to 70% increased Magic Monsters" (previously 25 to 70%).
  • "of the Invasion" now grants Breaches in Map have 5 to 10% increased Monster density" (previously 4 to 10%).
  • "of the Domain" now grants "15 to 30% increased Quantity of Breach Splinters dropped by Breach Monsters in Map" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of Rupturing" now grants "Map has 6 to 10% chance to contain three additional Breaches" (previously 4 to 10%).
  • "of Fissuring" now grants "Map has 15 to 30% chance to contain an additional Breach" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of Verisium" now grants "15 to 30% increased quantity of Expedition Artifacts dropped by Monsters in Map" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of the Detonator" now grants "15 to 30% increased Expedition Explosive Placement Range in Map" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of the Demolition" now grants "15 to 30% increased Expedition Explosive Radius in Map" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of Knowledge" now grants "15 to 30% increased Quantity of Expedition Logbooks dropped by Runic Monsters" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of Ancient Fiends" now grants "25 to 40% increased number of Rare Expedition Monsters in Map" (previously 15 to 40%).
  • "of Relics" now grants "12 to 18% increased Effect of Expedition Remnants in Map" (previously 6 to 18%).
  • "of Runes" now grants "Map contains 15 to 30% increased number of Runic Monster Markers" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of the Simulacrum" now grants "15 to 30% increased Stack size of Simulacrum Splinters found in Map" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of Madness" now grants "Delirium in Map increases 15 to 30% faster with distance from the mirror" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of Persecution" now grants "Delirium Monsters in Map have 15 to 30% increased Pack Size" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of Mirrors" now grants "Delirium Fog in Map spawns 15 to 30% increased Fracturing Mirrors" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of Freeze Time" now grants "Slaying Rare Monsters in Map pauses the Delirium Mirror Timer for 3 to 5 seconds" (previously 2 to 5).
  • "of Phobia" now grants "Delirium Encounters in Map are 15 to 30% more likely to spawn Unique Bosses" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of Sacrifice" now grants "Monsters Sacrificed at Ritual Altars in Map grant 18 to 30% increased Tribute" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of the Appeal" now grants "Favours Deferred at Ritual Altars in Map reappear 25 to 40% sooner" (previously 15 to 40%).
  • "of the Foundling" now grants "Revived Monsters from Ritual Altars in Map have 35 to 70% increased chance to be Magic" (previously 25 to 70%).
  • "of the Cult" now grants "Revived Monsters from Ritual Altars in Map have 25 to 40% increased chance to be Rare" (previously 15 to 40%).
  • "of Omens" now grants "Ritual Favours in Map have 35 to 70% increased chance to be Omens" (previously 25 to 70%).
  • "of Pathways" now grants "18 to 30% increased Quantity of Waystones dropped by Map Bosses" (previously 10 to 30%).
  • "of Conquering" now grants "Map Bosses grant 40 to 80% increased Experience" (previously 20 to 80%).
  • "of Treasure" now grants "35 to 60% increased Rarity of Items dropped by Map Bosses" (previously 20 to 60%).
  • "of Hoards" now grants "13 to 20% increased Quantity of Items dropped by Map Bosses" (previously 10 to 20%).
  • "of the Horde" now grants "Abysses in Map spawn 20 to 30% increased Monsters" (previously 15 to 30%).
  • The "of Fleeting" map modifier can now only roll on Tier 11+ Waystones and has a value of 10-15% (previously 21-25%).
  • The Xesht's Madness Breach Atlas Notable no longer provides "Rare Breach Monsters in your Maps have the Soul Eater Modifier", instead provides Rare Breach Monsters have Onslaught and Rare Breach Monsters have 50% increased Effectiveness.
  • The Prayer for Wealth Atlas Passive has been removed, due to Greed Shrines no longer being available.
  • The High Road no longer provides "Waystones found have 20% chance to be a tier higher", now provides "10% chance for Waystones found in your Maps to be Rare and Corrupted".
  • The Get out of my head! and The mirrors... the mirrors! Delirium Atlas Notables have swapped places.
  • The Get out of my head! Delirium Atlas Notable has been reworked, it now provides Magic Monsters in your Maps have +25% chance to have an additional Delirium Modifier and 100% increased Rarity of Items dropped by Magic Monsters in Maps with multiple Delirium Modifiers.
  • The Isn't it tempting? Delirium Atlas Notable has been reworked, it now provides Currency which drops from Delirium Monsters in your Maps is stolen by the Map Boss, Each stolen Currency has a +20% chance to be Duplicated upon defeating the Map Boss if under the affects of Delirium.
  • The It's not real, it's not real! Delirium Atlas Notable has been reworked, it now provides Rare Monsters always Manifest Delirium Demons in your Maps, 10% increased Quantity of Items dropped by Rare Monsters with Manifested Delirium Demons in your Maps and Rare Monsters with Manifested Delirium Demons in your Maps grant 30% increased Experience.
  • Waystones can no longer be instilled using Liquid Emotions.
  • Improved the visuals of Delirium fog and added a radius around the player that improves clarity further, this radius has less of a desaturation effect and makes the fog thinner.
  • Delirium no longer has the reward bar indicator, instead Delirium monsters have a chance to drop Liquid Emotions.
  • Delirium Bosses have a guaranteed Liquid Emotion drop and an increased chance to drop higher tier Liquid Emotions.
  • Boss Waves in the Simulacrum also drop a guaranteed Liquid Emotion with a chance of being a higher tier Liquid Emotion.
  • Idols of Estazunti are no longer required to unlock Vaal Vault maps. Existing items will be deleted.
  • The Vaults of Kamasa Unique Map chests are no longer affected by party bonuses.
  • Removed camera zoom out on completion of tower maps.
  • Added an objective icon for activating all checkpoints. When a player activates all checkpoints and completes the map, all map content minimap icons will be revealed.
  • Removed Breach, Ritual, Delirium, and Expedition from the Map Legend as they no longer have icons shown on your Atlas (and instead can be found randomly in maps or added through the use of Precursor Tablets).

Monster Changes

Bosses now have an Anti-Burst damage mechanic: Once a boss has finished it's emerge or becomes aggro the damage reduction period starts counting down. The damage reduction tapers down from full effect to no effect over the course of this duration. For every unit the boss moves from it's starting location the damage reduction will fall off even faster. Bosses which cannot or barely move have a shorter damage reduction period.

  • Improved the visibility of the explosive fungus encountered in The Grim Tangle
  • Improved the visibility of the explosive fungus spawned by the Fungal Proliferator monster type
  • Improved the mid fight phase change sequence of the final Act 2 boss
  • Improved the first phase change sequence of the final Act 4 boss
  • Improved the behaviour of the Great White One boss.
  • Made various improvements to Rogue Exile behaviour.
  • Re-enabled the following Rogue Exiles; Taua, the Ruthless, Ulfred, the Afflicted, Drusian, the Artillerist and Doran, the Deft.
  • The Blind Beast in Isle of Kin now drops a Blank Greater Rune. This can be exchanged with Dannig in Kingsmarch for a Greater Rune of your choosing (from a selection).
  • The Blind Beast no longer drops a Bile-soaked Tome. Instead, the Dark Mists quest now grants a Mist-shrouded Tome (which grants two Weapon Set Passive Skill Points) in addition to its existing rewards (Uncut Skill Gem and Gold).
  • You can now open a Town Portal in Olroth's arena after he has been defeated.
  • Kosis's Lighting Barrage skill should no longer hit with 9 projectiles at point blank range.

User Interface Changes

  • Some interfaces that could not be panelled now allow dual cursors so both players can interact with a UI at the same time.
  • Support gem compatibility of all equipped skills is now shown when hovering a support gem in the gemcutting interface.
  • On the waypoint world map, selecting underground locations featured on the overworld map will now immediately teleport you to the selected location, instead of toggling to the underground map view.
  • Added a 'quick search' feature to the Stat Filters in the Trade Market.
  • Stackable items will no longer be merged into existing item stacks when ctrl-clicking items into Merchant's Tabs.
  • Optimised item search for the in-game market browser.
  • Your current Rage is no longer displayed in your buff bar. Instead, there is now a Rage meter next to the mana globe.
  • The Cursor Size option has been changed to a slider.
  • Added a new Cursor Tracking input option for keyboard and mouse users, which allows skills to continue updating their target location/direction even after the skill's input key is released. This is particularly impactful for skills such as Rolling Slam and Whirling Assault, but affects a wide variety of skills. By default this option is enabled in WASD mode and disabled in click to move mode.
  • When switching between controller and keyboard in the character selection screen, the game will remember if you used WASD or not.
  • Refactored Couch Coop player interfaces:
  • Most player interfaces will now be panelled to minimise disruptions and to improve the gameplay flow in towns. Both players can have different panelled interfaces open at the same time.

Microtransaction Changes

  • The Wardrobe hideout decoration now visually indicates, and opens to your Wishlist page, when a Microtransaction you've previously wishlisted is on sale.
  • Enabled the following existing Rare Finisher Effect microtransactions for use in Path of Exile 2: Aesir Lightning Rare Finisher Effect , Anchor Drop Rare Finisher Effect, Black Hole Rare Finisher Effect, Blackstar Meteor Rare Finisher Effect, Consuming Tentacle Rare Finisher Effect, Dragon Fire Rare Finisher Effect, Necrotic Flames Rare Finisher Effect, Shark Attack Rare Finisher Effect, Sulphite Shatter Rare Finisher Effect.
  • Enabled the existing Cathedral Armour Set, Dreadspire Armour Set, Corsair Armour Set, Corsair Hood, Corsair Helmet, Abyss Core Armour Set, Abyss Core Crown, Siren Armour Set, Siren Hood, Harmonious Armour Set, Gargoyle Armour Set and Glimmerwood Hat microtransactions for use in Path of Exile 2.
  • Enabled the existing Astral and Onyx Oblivion Weapon Effect microtransactions for use in Path of Exile 2.
  • Enabled the existing Stygian and Ebony Character Effect microtransactions for use in Path of Exile 2.
  • Enabled the existing Hummingbird Pet microtransaction for use in Path of Exile 2.
  • Enabled the existing Gorgon Shield microtransaction for use in Path of Exile 2.
  • Enabled the existing Celestial Wings and Jaeger Cloak microtransactions for use in Path of Exile 2.
  • Enabled the existing Lightning Footprints microtransaction for use in Path of Exile 2.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where effects that spread an Ignite were incorrectly just inflicting a single hit's worth of Flammability when it tried to spread, and only Igniting if flammability was high enough at that time.
  • Fixed an issue where Lightning Warp could remove corpses of reviving monsters.
  • Fixed a bug where Wind Dancer's nova did not scale with modifiers to area damage.
  • Fixed a bug where Ravenous Swarm did not display correct Active Swarm Limit.
  • Fixed a bug where Electrocuting Arrow was unable to hit enemies that were too short.
  • Fixed a bug where multiple copies of Thornskin or Thornskin II could be active at the same time.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Blood Hunt's Blood Loss consumption explosion to sometimes deal the incorrect amount of damage.
  • Fixed an issue where the visuals for Ice Nova weren't always matching the area in which it hit.
  • Fixed a bug where the Smith of Kitava's manifest spear would only do damage on the first half of it's dash if the target was far away.
  • Fixed Glory not generating while on a Rhoa Mount.
  • Fixed bug where Glory generated from Rare or Unique monsters in your presence generated glory based on your current weapon set's passives instead of each weapon set's passives.
  • Fixed a bug where Charged Staff did not have a Lightning tag.
  • Fixed an issue preventing Living Lightning Support from being able to be Supported by certain gems.
  • Fixed a bug where Perfection was only granting more hit damage rather than all damage.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause Dark Effigy to have a longer-than-intended delay before firing its first projectile after being raised if there were only one valid target.
  • Fixed a bug where Battershout Support wasn't working with Fortifying Cry nor Ancestral Cry.
  • Fixed a bug where exposure applied by oil ground bypassed some defensive mechanics.
  • Fixed a bug where Second Wind III Support wasn't working with Demon Form. The life restoration now occurs when Demon Form is put on cooldown.
  • Fixed a bug where Inhibitor Support was granting more damage per Infusion rather than per Infusion type.
  • Fixed a bug where Unleash could not support Unearth.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred with Heatshiver and some similar modifiers in cases where an enemy can be affected by multiple chills at the same time.
  • Fixed a bug where Blasphemy did not display its icon while you have Show Aura Icons checked in the options menu.
  • Fixed Ancestrally boosted slam effects not showing up when MTX are applied.
  • Fixed an issue where the Controlled Metamorphosis Unique jewel could have its mod ranges roll beyond the values used to determine the radius. This will not fix jewels where this is already broken, but will prevent this from happening with any new rolls of the item.
  • Fixed an issue where quest Soul Cores were not removed from the player when used in an Ultimatum encounter.
  • Fixed a bug where gaining charges over time for Life Flasks or Mana Flasks would not fill both flasks when using the Waistgate Unique Belt with two Life Flasks or Mana Flasks equipped respectively.
  • Fixed Whakapanu Island, Isle of Kin, Abandoned Prison and Treasure Map Fragment world markers to not appear before you've reached the area.
  • Fixed an issue that could be caused when the bosses in The Cuachic Vault were defeated at the same time as soon as they became damageable.
  • Fixed a bug where heavy stunning Krutog, Lord of Kin from behind would fail to play a heavy stun animation
  • Fixed the Nameless Seer not automatically closing his shop after you take a Unique Item from him
  • Fixed issue where character models could fail to display on the Character Select screen.
  • Fixed Iron Count saying nothing on sorceress in character creation scene
  • Fixed issue where couch co-op games were starting with P2 as party leader
  • Fixed couch co-op bug causing issues with using the Horn of Vastiri.
  • Fixed couch co-op issue with Caravan not stopping and exit remaining closed
  • Fixed various client crashes.
