At least for the purposes of Crackling Barrier, "while Channelling Supported Skills" includes parts of the skill that occur after releasing the button. For example, while hitting with [[Perfect Strike]], even though you do not actually swing until after the button is released. This means that if supported by both Crackling Barrier and [[Barbs]], Perfect Strike can hit enemies with the Lightning Thorns damage. (This combo is unique to Perfect Strike, as it is the only skill to meet the requirements for both support gems.)
Crackling Barrier seems to have a bug with [[Parry]] and [[Raise Shield]], as it does nothing for these skills even though it can support them. Crackling Barrier works as expected with [[Resonating Shield]], however.
