Atlas Passive Tree

The Atlas Passive Tree or Atlas Passive Skill Tree is composed of several smaller passive trees that add bonuses to maps in the Atlas or other endgame encounters.

Mechanics

Atlas Skill Points

The largest tree, and the first to be unlocked, is a generic Atlas Passive Tree that applies various effects to your maps or enhances various map encounters.

  • Complete 5 different Unique Maps: 5 x 2 = 10

Map Boss Skill Points

Modifies maps that contain map bosses. Small passives increase Difficulty, up to a maximum of Difficulty 4.

  • Complete The Pinnacle of Flame Quest by defeating the Arbiter of Ash: 2
  • Slay a Map Boss in an Area Level 79+ (Tier 15) Map that has at least 6 modifiers: 2
  • Slay a Map Boss in an Area Level 80+ Map that has at least 6 modifiers: 2
    • Increase Area Level by any combination of the following method:
      • Area Level +1 from a Waystone (Tier 15)Waystone (Tier 15)Waystone Tier: 15Area Level: 79Can be used in a Map Device, allowing you to enter a Map. Waystones can only be used once. corrupted into a Waystone (Tier 16)Waystone (Tier 16)Waystone Tier: 16Area Level: 80CorruptedCan be used in a Map Device, allowing you to enter a Map.       • Area Level +1 from a map that is Irradiated on the Atlas
      • Area Level +1 from a map that is cleansed or corrupted on the Atlas and has the random modifier +1 to Monster Level of Area.
  • Slay an Anomaly Map Boss in an Area Level 79+ Map that has at least 6 modifiers: 2
  • Slay a Citadel Map Boss in an Area Level 79+ Map that has at least 6 modifiers: 2
  • Completing The Pinnacle of Flame quest and defeat The Arbiter of Ash: 2

Delirium Skill Points

Modifies Delirium encounters in maps. Small passives increase Difficulty of the Simulacrum, up to a maximum of Difficulty 4.

Modifies Breach encounters in maps. Small passives increase Difficulty of the Twisted Domain, up to a maximum of Difficulty 4.

Modifies Expedition encounters in maps. Small passives increase Difficulty of Expedition LogbookExpedition LogbookTake this item to Dannig in your Hideout to open portals to an expedition. areas, up to a maximum of Difficulty 4.

Ritual Skill Points

Modifies Ritual encounters in maps. Small passives increase Difficulty of the Crux of Nothingness, up to a maximum of Difficulty 4.

0.2.0g	Reduced the number of Corrupted Nexus' you need to complete your Atlas Passive Tree. Each Corrupted Nexus now grants 5 skill points allowing you to complete this task much faster. Atlas Passive Skill Points have been retroactively granted. There are a few scenarios where you will have fewer Atlas Passive Skill Points after the patch. In this case, your Atlas Skills have been reset.
0.2.0	Upon reaching the Nexus you will begin the task of cleansing the source of Corruption. Complete this task and receive Crystalline Shards that you can use to obtain Atlas Passive Skill points. The first 5 different Unique Maps you complete each now grant 2 Atlas Passive Skill points, for a total of 10 points. Removed chances for Waystones to drop a Tier higher from the Atlas Passive Tree, and lowered the amount of Waystone Quantity available on the Atlas Passive Tree. Reduced the Power of Notables on the league specific Atlas Passive Trees for acquiring Logbooks, Breach Splinters, Simulacrum Splinters and an Audience with the King. Added support for Azmerian Spirits and Rogue Exiles to the Atlas Passive Tree. Added more Notable Passives and reworked some existing ones to make the available choices more interesting. The Deadly Evolution Atlas Keystone has been replaced by a new Keystone called Ecological Shift which causes your Maps to have 40% more chance to contain Random Extra Content, and 20% less number of Monster Packs in your Maps. Can now obtain 40 Atlas Passive Skill points (previously 30). The Crumbling Walls Atlas Notable Passive now has 10% chance for an additional Breach (previously 15%), 3% chance for three additional Breaches (previously 5%) and 1% chance for ten additional Breaches (previously 2%). The Extreme Archaeology Notable Atlas Passive no longer causes Monsters to spawn with 20% of their Life missing. The Frantic Invasion Atlas Notable Passive now has 50% increased Quantity of Breach Splinters dropped by Breach Monsters in your Maps (previously 75%). The Grasping Hands Atlas Notable Passive now has 30% more Clasped Hands (previously 50%) and Clasped Hands in your Maps have 20% chance to be guarded by a pack of Magic monsters (previously 25%). The Interdimensional Assault Atlas Notable Passive now has Breaches in your Maps have 10% increased Monster Density (previously 15%). The Ominous Portents Atlas Notable Passive now causes Ritual Favour in your Maps to have 100% increased chance to be Omens (previously 50%). The Rising Pyre Atlas Notable Passive now has Breaches in your Maps have 25% increased Monster Density (previously 40%).
0.1.1	The Radiant Waystones Atlas Notable Passive now provides +15% chance for Map Bosses to drop a Waystone of the current tier or higher (previously 25%). The small Map Boss Waystone Chance Passives now provide +6% chance for Map Bosses to drop a Waystone of the current tier or higher (previously 10%). The "I'm not afraid of you!"
