For the item required to access the encounter, see Simulacrum.

The Simulacrum is the endgame encounter for Delirium.

Access

A SimulacrumSimulacrumHow do you defeat that which dwells within you?Right click this item to create a stack of 100 Simulacrum Splinters. is required to access it. Upon using one in the Realmgate, one of several possible layouts are generated based on towns:

Mechanics

The Simulacrum consists of 15 waves of enemies to defeat. Interacting with the Strangely Familiar Entity will summon the next wave. Each wave increases the difficulty and rewards, gradually increasing in Deliriousness and area modifiers. Killing monsters will increase earned rewards for the wave. Once the entire wave of enemies is cleared, all earned rewards for that wave based on the reward icons are dropped at once. Starting a new wave will destroy all items remaining on the ground.

A stash is available in the area, allowing storage of items between waves.

Each wave adds 10% Deliriousness, capping at 100% at wave 10+. Each difficulty adds +10% minimum and maximum Deliriousness.

Waves start with 2 random modifiers, increasing by 1 on waves 5, 8, and 11.

Unique monsters can appear starting from wave 3, and both are almost guaranteed to appear in wave 13-15. They fill more reward gauge progress than other enemies.

Monsters

In later waves, there are two unique monsters that can appear:

Difficulty

  • Difficulty 0: (Area Level 80), starts at 10% Delirious, up to 100% Delirious
  • Difficulty 1: +1 to Area Level of Simulacrum areas (Area Level 81), starts at 20% Delirious, up to 110% Delirious
  • Difficulty 2: +1 to Area Level of Simulacrum areas (Area Level 81), starts at 30% Delirious, up to 120% Delirious
  • Difficulty 3: +2 to Area Level of Simulacrum areas (Area Level 82), starts at 40% Delirious, up to 130% Delirious
  • Difficulty 4: +2 to Area Level of Simulacrum areas (Area Level 82), starts at 50% Delirious, up to 140% Delirious

Additionally, higher difficulties drop more items.

Drops

Each reward progress tile completed will drop one Distilled Emotion at the end of the wave. The chance for each tier of Distilled Emotion is approximately half of the previous tier, or .

One Simulacrum-exclusive unique item drops after completing the 15th (final) wave of the simulacrum.
