Vaal Cultivation Orb is a currency item that randomly replaces 1 or 2 modifiers on corrupted Vaal uniques with predetermined Vaal cultivation modifier, or replaces non-corrupted non-Vaal unique items with another corrupted unique of the same item class.
When used on a non-corrupted non-Vaal themed unique item, it is guaranted to transform into another drop-enabled unique item of the same item class (e.g. a belt will become another belt), as long as the item level is sufficient for the drop level. Doing so will typically change the base type of the item, and will randomize the item's item sockets or quality. Exceptional items (items with 21+% quality and/or +1 additional item socket) will not retain their special stats. The resulting item will be corrupted and will not receive a random corruption outcome.
