Buried Shrines is an area in Act 2. This area has a waypoint and is connected to The Lost City.

Defeating either Zalmarath, the Colossus or Iktab, the Deathlord will increase the area level to 24. Defeating both will increase the area level to 27.

The area is also known as "Keth Sanctum" in the quest log.

• [Boss arena] The Heart of Keth (the popup message instead name the room as "Vestibule of the Rains", or "The Vestibule" in mini-map): A large square room, containing a fire urn in each corner which create large patches of Burning Ground if broken by Azarian.
• [Notable chest] Suspicious Sarcophagus (known as "Guarded Sarcophagus" in world map (U)): The tomb of Ahkeli, the Honoured Founder. Contains a Level 2 Uncut Support GemUncut Support GemCreates a Support GemRight Click to engrave a Support Gem. and activates an army of Terracotta Soldiers. There is a checkpoint next to the area, and the flavour text in the world map states: "Tombs were rarely left unprotected." and will change to "of course it was a trap!" after looting the chest. Beware this chest in hardcore mode. Alternatively, place a portal to town before looting the sarcophagus, and back to the area instance using waypoint instead of portal.
