Olroth, Origin of the Fall is the pinnacle boss of the Expedition map mechanic. He is found in the Kalguuran Tomb, accessible by spending Runic SplintersRunic SplinterStack Size: 300Consume at least 50 Splinters at the Realmgate to travel to the Kalguuran Tomb. at the Realmgate.

Skills

Phase 1:

Skill	Skill description
Sword Slam	Throws his sword into the air then slams it down on a target location, leaving pulsing shockwaves behind.
Sword Throw	Throws out his sword that returns shortly after, then casts a cold damage AoE around him upon catching it.
Light Pillar	Creates a set of light pillars that rotate around him, slowly closing in towards him.
Charged Attack	Charges up his attack then dashes towards the player, sweeping his sword in front of him.

Phase 2: Same attacks but with modified area.

Skill	Skill description
Tracking Cold Beam	A beam that slowly follows that player.
Cold Projectiles	Cold projectiles that shoot at your current position and explode in a small area.
Center Arena Beam	A beam which goes through the middle of the arena, leaving Chilled Ground once it dissipates.

At Difficulty 1 or higher, the boss arena contains three Runic Gateways around the perimeter that constantly spawn Unearthed Skeletal Warrior adds throughout the fight.

Version history

Version	Changes
0.3.0	Currently, access to most Pinnacle Content requires the same key at the easiest, and most difficult version of the content. This creates a negative feeling where at lower difficulties, instead of wanting to run the content, you're often better off just selling it to someone who can run it at maximum difficulty. To address this, each content (excluding The Arbiter of Ash) will now drop Splinters, which will not form into singular Items. Instead of using the singular, combined item in the Realmgate, you can now just bring your Splinters. Upon inserting the splinters into the Realmgate, an interface will appear allowing you to pick your difficulty, each with a different entry cost. Reduced the number of difficulties from 0-4 to 1-3. [Undocumented] As a result of this change, the corresponding Atlas Passive Trees no longer affects the difficulty of the content, and has been changed to purely affect the content in the Maps on the Atlas. Olroth, Origin of the Fall no longer spawns in Logbooks.
0.2.0f	Pinnacle Bosses now have unlimited respawn attempts at Difficulty 0.
0.2.0	All Bosses that are affected by Difficulty and Simulacrum can now drop all of their specific unique items at any Difficulty, however rare uniques are even rarer at lower difficulties. This also applies to the drop chances for Reliquary keys from this content. Pinnacle boss content now takes roughly half the amount of time to unlock compared to before. In addition, Pinnacle bosses have been made much easier at Difficulty 0 as well. It's our intention to allow you to face Difficulty 0 of this content much earlier in your endgame progression while still preserving the difficulty of Difficulty 4. Players no longer lose experience from dying in Simulacrum, The Twisted Domain, Olroth's arena inside Logbooks, the Crux of Nothingness, or The Burning Monolith. Players also no longer gain experience from killing monsters in these areas. The Life of the following Pinnacle Bosses has been adjusted: Olroth, The Origin of the Fall, Xesht, We That Are One, The King in the Mists, and The Arbiter of Ash. At difficulty 0 they now have roughly half the maximum Life as before, scaling back up to be unchanged by difficulty 4. The following bosses no longer have armour penetration: Olroth, The Origin of the Fall, Xesht, We That Are One, The King in the Mists, and The Arbiter of Ash. Lowered the damage conversion to other elements for some skills used by The Arbiter of Ash and Olroth, The Origin of the Fall. Olroth, Origin of the Fall now deals increased damage with his dash skills.
0.1.1c	Added up to five respawn attempts for the Olroth, Origin of the Fall boss fight, based on the fight difficulty. Respawns can only be triggered by the person who put in the Expedition Logbook, Breachstone or An Audience with the King, and everyone in your party will be respawned at the same time.
