Chapel Key is a quest item, which can be found in Abandoned Prison in Act 4.

It can drop upon defeating any monster in the area and is needed for a local event within the area.

As a local item, this item will be dropped upon leaving the area. If you get killed while inside the area, the item is lost as well, but can be found again in the new instance, where the character respawned.

Usage

The Chapel Key can be used to unlock the Chapel Doors in the Abandoned Prison at the landmark The Chapel to get access to the Goddess of Justice.

She allows you to pick between two permanent upgrades:

• 30% increased Mana Recovery from Flasks or
• 30% increased Life Recovery from Flasks.

You can change the bonus by revisiting the Statue.
