Small Soul Core is a quest item, which can be found in Jiquani's Machinarium in Act 3 and The Cuachic Vault in the Interlude.

It is found randomly on the ground throughout the area and is needed for a local event within the area.

As a local item, this item will be dropped upon leaving the area. If you get killed while inside the area, the item is lost as well, but can be found again in the new instance, where the character respawned.

Usage

There are several small soul cores to be found within the area. They can be used to open several doors for the following:

• Access to the main area of Jiquani's Machinarium
• Access to Jiquani's Sanctum
• Access to The Oubliette, boss arena of Blackjaw, the Remnant
• Access to the Supply Room, which contains stacks of Gold and 3 rare chests
