There are several small soul cores to be found within the area. They can be used to open several doors for the following:
* Access to the main area of [[Jiquani's Machinarium]]
* Access to [[Jiquani's Sanctum]]
* Access to ''The Oubliette'', boss arena of [[Blackjaw, the Remnant]]
* Access to the ''Supply Room'', which contains stacks of Gold and 3 {{c|rare|rare}} chests
