Patch notes

These are the official patch notes for Path of Exile 2 version 0.2.0b released by Grinding Gear Games.[1]

  • All non-unique monsters have less life, tapering from 100% to 75% of what they had between levels 8 and 15. All monsters between level 15 and 46 now have exactly 25% less Life. All monsters between level 46 and 64 now have less life, tapering up from 75% to 100%. This results in all monsters in Endgame having the same Life as before this change. Their thresholds for Crowd Control and Ailments have been adjusted proportionately by the same amount.
  • Rogue Exiles have had their Life reduced by 40% (on top of the change above).
  • The "of the Hydra" (Life Regeneration) Monster Modifier now only appears at Level 65+.

    Requires: QuarterstaffBuild Combo by successfully Striking Enemies with other skills. After reaching maximum Combo, use this skill to cause the Bell on your staff to grow to massive size as you drop it on the ground. The Bell damages enemies on impact and can be Hit by your skills, creating a damaging shockwave. Elemental Ailments applied to the Bell cause its shockwaves to deal extra damage of the corresponding type, and Hits which would have caused Knockback increase the area of effect of the shockwaves.Tempest Bell
    Requires 4 Combo to use
    Lose Combo if you generate no Combo for 8 seconds
    Limit 1 Bell
    Bell duration is 6 seconds
    Bell is destroyed after 10 Hits

    Impact
    Attack Damage: (120–490)% of base
    Impact radius is 1.8 metres

    Shockwave
    Attack Damage: (50–132)% of base
    30% more Area of Effect per 0.1 metres of
    Knockback the triggering Hit would have caused
    Gains 30% of Physical Damage as Extra Damage of each Type matching an Elemental Ailment on the Bell
    Shockwave radius is 2.4 metres
    Shockwave can be triggered once every 0.25 seconds

    Additional Effects From 1-20% Quality:
    Shockwave deals (0.15-3)% more Damage per Hit taken by Bell
    Skills can be managed in the Skills Panel.
    Combo required to use has been reduced from 10 to 4.

    Converts 80% of Physical Damage to Fire Damage
    Consumes 15 Heat if possible to
    Gain 50% of damage as Fire damage
    Explosion radius is (2-2.4) metres

    Additional Effects From 1-20% Quality:
    (1-20)% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate

    Requires: CrossbowFire a bouncing Grenade that discharges an Electrocuting Lightning blast when its fuse expires, causing all Lightning Hits against enemies to contribute to Electrocution buildup for a duration.Detonation Time is 2.5 seconds
    Converts 80% of Physical Damage to Lightning Damage
    Explosion radius is (2-2.4) metres
    Lightning damage from Hits with this skill Contributes to Electrocution Buildup
    (150-340)% more Electrocution buildup from Hits with this skill
    Electrocution buildup Debuff duration is 6 seconds

    Additional Effects From 1-20% Quality:
    (1-20)% increased Cooldown Recovery Rate
    Skills can be managed in the Skills Panel.
    Cooldowns have been lowered to 5 seconds.
  • All Curse Skill Gems now have a higher growth of radius per Level. Starting at 1.5 metres at Level 1, Growing to 3.1 metres (from 2.1 metres) at Level 20.
