A Barya is an item that can be inserted into the Relic Altar to access a specific floor within the Trial of the Sekhemas. "Test of X" Baryas are obtained by completing the previous floor in the Trial, saving the progress of the current run as an item. The run can be continued using these Baryas, or traded to other players.
Barya includes: Ezomyte runes are items that can be socketed into martial weapons and armour. Socketed runes will add enchantment modifiers to their items, granting generic offensive modifiers to martial weapons and defensive modifiers to armour. Once socketed, runes cannot be removed. Runes are mechanically similar to soul cores.
