The Atlas Passive Tree or Atlas Passive Skill Tree is composed of several smaller passive trees that add bonuses to maps in the Atlas or other endgame encounters.

Mechanics

Atlas Skill Points

The largest tree, and the first to be unlocked, is a generic Atlas Passive Tree that applies various effects to your maps or enhances various map encounters.

  • Maximum Skill Points: 40

  • Atlas Passive Trees no longer affects the difficulty of the content, and has been changed to purely affect the content in the Maps on the Atlas.
  • The Arbiter of Ash Atlas Passive Skill Tree has been removed, and some of the bonuses have become inherent to The Arbiter of Ash's drops.
  • Added a Uber version of The Arbiter of Ash Boss fight, which requires the new Calamity Fragments to access. These are obtained from Citadel Bosses, but only once you've allocated the maximum number of points in your Boss Atlas Passive Tree, ensuring those Citadels are at their highest difficulty.
  • Acquiring Map Boss Atlas Passive points has been adjusted. These are now obtained by:

  • Atlas Passive Skill Points have been retroactively granted. There are a few scenarios where you will have fewer Atlas Passive Skill Points after the patch. In this case, your Atlas Skills have been reset.

  • Upon reaching the Nexus you will begin the task of cleansing the source of Corruption. Complete this task and receive Crystalline Shards that you can use to obtain Atlas Passive Skill points.
