Liquid Emotions are Currency items that are exclusive drops from the mechanic. Liquid Emotions allow you to instil an amulet with a Notable Passive Skill from the Passive Tree. Instilling a Notable Passive Skill which you have already allocated normally will not grant its effects a second time.

Liquid emotions are a type of currency item exclusive to Delirium encounters. Liquid emotions may be used to instill enchantments onto amulets. Combinations of three liquid emotions correspond to and grant a notable passive from the passive skill tree while the amulet is equipped. The combination required for a specific passive can be seen by holding ALT.

Amulets can only have one enchantment, unless otherwise stated (e.g StrugglescreamStrugglescream

but the shadows eventually become home.). An item's enchantment can be replaced by enchantment simply by instilling it again; if the item has multiple enchantments, one will be replaced at random. It is not currently possible to remove an enchantment altogether.

By clicking the "view notables" button in the instilling menu, or by searching CanInstill in the passive skill tree's search, it will highlight any notable passive skills that can be instilled using the combinations of liquid emotions currently in your inventory.

Version history

Prior to version 0.4.0, it was possible to instill waystones with up to 3 Liquid Emotions, adding an enchantment to a waystone. Maps enchanted this way have a permanent Delirium fog that persist throughout the entire map at a static Deliriousness percentage determined by the combination of Liquid Emotions. When Delirium is added this way, it is not possible to end the Delirium fog. Liquid Emotions cannot be obtained in these kinds of maps. However, Delirium monsters can still be encountered and will drop Simulacrum Splinters.

0.4.0d	Passive Skill Tree Notable Anointment displays no longer require the player to first pickup a Distilled Emotion. These can be viewed by holding ALT when hovering a notable passive on any character.
0.4.0	Waystones can no longer be instilled using Liquid Emotions. Delirium no longer has the reward bar indicator, instead Delirium monsters have a chance to drop Liquid Emotions. Delirium Bosses have a guaranteed Liquid Emotion drop and an increased chance to drop higher tier Liquid Emotions. Boss Waves in the Simulacrum also drop a guaranteed Liquid Emotion with a chance of being a higher tier Liquid Emotion.
0.3.1b	Fixed a bug which allowed you to 'upgrade' Runes, Liquid Emotions and Catalysts in the Essence Stash Tab, which could cause items to be deleted in certain cases.
0.3.0	Distilled Emotions have been renamed to Liquid Emotions. The 3 lowest tiers of Liquid Emotions are now called Diluted Liquid Emotions, while the 3 highest tiers are now called Concentrated Liquid Emotions, to better distinguish between the tiers.
