Shrines are Precursor Artifacts that empower monsters with its Presence with various effects.

Defeat all the monsters surrounding the Shrine and interact with it to temporarily gain the power for yourself.

Shrines (also known as Precursor Artifacts) are a map mechanic. Shrines empower monsters within its presence with Shrine buffs or Shrine effects. Defeating the monsters surrounding the Shrine and interacting with it will temporarily grant the Shrine buff to the player.

You can end a shrine buff early by right clicking on its buff icon in the top left corner.

Meteoric Shrine
  • Gain 100% of Damage as Extra Fire Damage

  • You gain Damage as Fire Damage and Meteors rain down around you.
Freezing Shrine
  • Gain 100% of Damage as Extra Cold Damage

  • You gain Damage as Cold Damage and freezing shards fire around you in a spiral.
Tempest Shrine
  • Gain 100% of Damage as Extra Lightning Damage

  • You gain Damage as Lightning Damage and bolts strike the ground around you
Gloom Shrine
  • Gain 50% of Damage as Extra Chaos Damage
