Layout
Twisted Domain has a long, linear layout with a Breach located near the start of the area. Touching the Breach hand will trigger the Breach to expand with a timer. Killing monsters will add additional time to the timer, with rare monsters contributing more time. The Breach will continue to expand until it either reaches the boss arena or the timer expires. Once the Breach is either completed or failed, the timer will stop and items accumulated from all of the killed Breach monsters in the area will drop.
The final part of this area contains a boss arena containing Xesht, We That Are One.
The difficulty of the Twisted Domain can be altered using the nodes in the breach atlas passive tree. Increasing the difficulty will raise the level of encountered monsters as well as that of Xesht. At higher difficulties, the reward pool from defeating Xesht will be larger, granting the chance to receive items that are not obtainable at lower difficulties such as Controlled Metamorphosis.
