Orb of Chance is a currency item that can be used to randomly upgrade a normal item into a unique item, if possible, or destroys it.

Mechanics

Orb of Chance cannot be used on items with no unique versions or only drop-restricted unique versions. Attempting to do so will result in an error: Item cannot increase in rarity.

The chance of an item's success in upgrading into a unique or being destroyed depends on the relative unique item tier of the unique(s). Rarer uniques are less likely to be obtained.
