Dannig is one of the NPCs you encounter in the Expedition league mechanic. He allows you to open and access Expedition Logbooks.
Accessing Lobook Expeditions
Players can access logbook expeditions by clicking on the 'Show Expedition Map' option and slotting in a logbook. This opens up the logbook interface which contains 2-3 locations, each belonging to one of the expedition factions. You can select the desired location and open the portals to the logbook area.
Buying Items
Dannig has another option, labelled 'Buy Items', where he allows you to trade his artifacts (Sun) for any of the 3 others (Order, Broken Circle, and Black Scythe).
