The Slithering Dead is a quest in Act 3, begun by entering the Venom Crypts.
The player needs to explore the area to find the landmark Den of the Serpent Priestess.
There, a Corpse is found, which upon interacting drops 
Corpse-snake VenomCorpse-snake VenomBeware the bite of those serpents that call a human corpse home.
Nature has given them the means to acquire a new dwelling.

The venom needs to be taken to Servi in the Ziggurat Encampment, who extracts a Venom Draught, the player can use to finish the quest.
