Reforging Bench

A Reforging Bench is a crafting bench that allows three items of the same base type to be destroyed, creating a new item with similar properties. This process is colloquially referred to as "3-to-1".
Acquisition
The Reforging Bench is unlocked after completing the quest Treasures of Utzaal by handing in The Hammer of KamasaThe Hammer of KamasaThe smith may not remember higher
pursuits, but the hammer does. to Oswald in Act 3. Doing so will unlock the bench in towns and hideouts.
Mechanics
Input items
The three destroyed items must meet the following criteria:
- The items must be identified.
- The items must be of the same rarity.
- The equipment items cannot be normal rarity.
- The Waystones ignore this rule.
- The items must have the same base type.
- The items cannot be corrupted.
- If the item has variants (e.g. Shrine Sceptre), all of the items must be of the same variant.
- The items cannot be wider than 2 inventory spaces - this prevents the use of
Tapestry RelicTapestry RelicPlace this item on the Relic Altar at the start of the Trial of the Sekhemas
and
Incense RelicIncense RelicPlace this item on the Relic Altar at the start of the Trial of the Sekhemas

Output item
The new item will inherit the following properties:
- Rarity
- Base type (and variant)
- Item level of the lowest item level input
