Sanctifying an item will randomise the numeric values of its modifiers, then multiply the values of those modifiers by a random value ranging from 80% to 120%. The resulting item will not be Sanctified. Most methods of item crafting and modification cannot be used on Sanctified items.

Divine Orb used on a Rare item will Sanctify itRight click this item in your inventory to set it to be active. This item is consumed when triggered.. When an item becomes Sanctified, its modifier values will be rerolled then a modifier magnitude multiplier of 0.8x to 1.2x (in 0.01 increments) is applied to them. Sanctified items cannot be modified further with crafting items.
