Abyssal Depths is a side area that can occasionally appear from Abyss encounters. Occasionally after closing a pit, it may instead spawn an entrance to the Abyssal Depths.
This area has checkpoints, but dying in the Abyssal Depths will kick you back out to the entrance outside the area and it can no longer be accessed.

At the end of the area, there are several Magic and Rare Abyssal Troves behind a Rare Abyssal monster.
