Action speed

Not to be confused with Skill speed or Movement speed.

Action speed is a stat that affects the time it takes for the character to perform actions, such as:

• Movement speed
• Skill speed, which itself impacts:
  • Attack speed (for Martial weapons)
  • Reload speed (for Crossbows)
  • Cast speed (for Spells)
  • Warcry speed (for Warcries)
  • Throw speed (for Traps)
  • Summon speed (for Totems)

Sources of Action Speed

Many item affixes and buffs can provide bonuses to things that are part of action speed, such as x% increased Movement Speed mods on boots. However, sources that affect Action Speed are more common as debuffs, such as Chill.
