Runic Inscriptions
Runic Inscriptions are created by certain skills which have interaction with certain effects. All curse skills create Runic Inscriptions, as well as a few other skills.

Ignited Ground duration is 4 secondsPlace into a Skill's Support Gem socket in the Skills Panel to apply its effects to that Skill. You cannot have multiple Support Gems of the same Category socketed within one Skill. support takes effect when a Runic Inscription expires.
