Accuracy is used to hit a target with an attack, and is checked against the target's Evasion to determine that chance. Accuracy is also used to check against Deflection chance.

Player characters inherently gain 6 base accuracy per level, and 6 base accuracy for each point of dexterity.

Mechanics

Accuracy is weighed against the target's evasion when determining if an attack hits or misses according to:

(New formula TBA)

Chance to hit can not be lower than 5% but can reach 100%. The Amazon's Critical Strike notable allows chance to hit to exceed 100%. Due to the accuracy formula, the highest possible chance to hit you can have is ?%.

Spell do not benefit from accuracy. Player minions do not require accuracy and their attacks will always hit.

Accuracy penalty

Player attacks incur an accuracy penalty based on distance from the origin of the damage to the target, with no penalty for targets within 2 metres and increasing linearly to a maximum penalty of 90% less Accuracy for targets further than 9 metres away.
