Mektul, the Forgemaster is a unique monster located in The Molten Vault.

Mechanics

The fight against Mektul takes place in a long, relatively narrow Aureduct. At the start of the fight, the back wall will open, releasing molten gold into the channel. It will continue to flow down the channel at a steady rate, thus limiting the time that is available to defeat Mektul. As soon as he dies, the gold cools and hardens.

""	Blade Swing	Mektul strikes in melee range, sometimes chaining a second and third hit directly after the first.
""	Land Slide	Mektul thrusts his hand in the ground and charges up for a short while before performing an underhand throw, sending a wave of molten stone towards the character. This attack leaves behind stone pillars which have collision and block LoS.
""	Heat Burst	Mektul releases heat in a medium radius around him. Any stone pillars hit by this attack start to glow and explode shortly after they have been hit.
""	Eruption	Mektul thrusts his and into the ground before him, causing a fissure which will target the characters location and cause an explosion below them.
""	Re-Heat	Mektul retreats into the molten gold, sending waves of it towards the player.
""	Leap	Mektul jumps towards the player, dealing damage in an area around his landing point.
""	Stomp	Mektul stomps twice, dealing damage in a small area around him.

==Notes==¨ Mektul drops the Hammer of Kamasa, the quest item needed for the quest Treasures of Utzaal.
