Abyssal Depths is a side area that can occasionally appear from Abyss encounters. Occasionally after closing a pit, it may instead spawn an entrance to the Abyssal Depths.

This area has checkpoints, but dying in the Abyssal Depths will kick you back out to the entrance outside the area and it can no longer be accessed.

Occasionally, instead of an area level 79+ Abyssal Depths, there may a version of an Abyssal Depths with a boss arena at the end, which leads to either Tasgul, Swallower of Light (Lightless Void) or Vandroth, Blackblooded Enslaver (Dark Domain).

in the Well... perhaps walking among them even now, unseen.
