Rage
Tooltip
Rage grants 1% more AttackAttacks are skills that directly use your equipped weapon to damage enemies. Spells are not Attacks.

The base damage, attack speed and critical hit chance of an attack are determined using your weapon's stats unless a skill says otherwise.

Attacks do not necessarily deal Physical damage — they can deal any damage type.
damage per 1 Rage gained, to a maximum of 30. You lose 1 Rage every 0.1 seconds if you have not taken damage or gained Rage in the last 2 seconds.

Only one HitAny damage that isn't damage over time is Hit damage.

Damaging Ailments which result from a Hit will calculate their damage from that Hit, and will not subsequently have Damage modifiers applied directly to them. As a result of this, raising Hit Damage will result in more powerful Damaging Ailments innately.
every 0.5 seconds can cause you to gain Rage.

Rage is a stackable buff that grants an increase to attack damage[1] and can expended to augment certain attack skills. Default maximum rage is 30.

Mechanics

Current Rage can be seen around the edge of the mana globe. The maximum Rage a character can have by default is 30, but can be increased by items and passives. A character loses 10 Rage every second after not having gained Rage or been hit in the past 2 seconds. Inherent Rage loss is #% slower/faster modifiers affect the amount of Rage lost per second.

Characters gain 1% more Attack Damage for each point of Rage.

Effects which state "Every Rage also grants", such as Wings of CaelynWings of Caelyn
Rusted Greathelm
Armour: 49+20 to Armour
(5-15)% increased Rarity of Items found
+(20-30) to Dexterity
Gain 1 Rage on Melee Hit

, will scale with Rage effect.

All sources of Rage gain on hit are combined into one source. There is a shared cooldown preventing you from generating Rage on Hit from more than one hit every 0.5 seconds.

Version history

Version Changes
0.4.0
  • Rage regeneration now pauses rage decay similarly to other means of gaining rage. This means that your rage will never decay while it is regenerating.
  • All rage spending costs have been changed to 10 rage. Rage no longer causes a visual effect on your character until you have 10 or more Rage so that you know that you can use these abilities.
  • Your current Rage is no longer displayed in your buff bar. Instead, there is now a Rage meter next to the mana globe.
0.1.0
  • Introduced to the game.
