Most areas (though not all) will have one, and they can be used to quickly travel from area to area. Reaching a Waypoint will refill your Life, Mana, Flasks and Charms. also function as Checkpoints.

Checkpoints are markers encountered throughout the campaign. Interacting with a checkpoint (by moving near it) will replenish the player's flasks and charms. After dying, a player may choose to revive at their most recently visited checkpoint.

Checkpoints are encountered:

  • At most entrances and exits to areas.
  • Outside of boss arenas
  • At points of interest.
  • Sometimes at half-way points or transitions between sections of an area.

Clicking on a checkpoint will bring up a map of the area which can be used to instantly teleport to any previously activated checkpoints in the same area.
