Checkpoints
Tooltip
Checkpoints are a form of saving your progress through Wraeclast and will often appear before Boss fights and at points of interest. Reaching a Checkpoint will refill your Life, Mana, Flasks and Charms.

On death, you can choose to revive either in Town or at the last Checkpoint you reached. For this purpose, Waypoints also function as Checkpoints.

Checkpoints are markers encountered throughout the campaign. Interacting with a checkpoint (by moving near it) will replenish the player's flasks and charms. After dying, a player may choose to revive at their most recently visited checkpoint.

Checkpoints are encountered:

  • At most entrances and exits to areas.
  • Outside of boss arenas
  • At points of interest.
  • Sometimes at half-way points or transitions between sections of an area.

Clicking on a checkpoint will bring up a map of the area which can be used to instantly teleport to any previously activated checkpoints in the same area.
