Iktab, the Deathlord is a unique monster located in the Bone Pits. Iktab is part of a dual boss encounter with Ekbab, Ancient Steed. Defeating them drops 
Mastodon TusksMastodon TusksAge-old ivory from a forgotten era.Return this to Zarka to help recreate the Horn of the Vastiri.
, which is required to progress the quest A Theft of Ivory.
Encounter
If Ekbab, Ancient Steed is killed first, Iktab will enrage and the fight will gain new mechanics:
- Lightning Runes: Creates fan of runes in a direction causing lightning to fall from the sky.
- Meteor Runes: Creates several runes across the arena causing meteors to fall in a wave.
- Bonequake: Marks an area at the character's location in sequence, causing bones to spike out of the ground after a delay.
- Lightning Projectile Nova: Creates a large ghostly orb which periodically pulses and fires a nova of ghostly lightning projectiles.
