Empowered skill

Empowered Skills do not have any inherent bonuses, but a number of stats and modifiers specifically apply to Empowered Skills.

An Empowered Skill is a use of a skill which is amplified or has additional effects due to another skill or buff Empowering it. Empowering only applies to instances of a skill's use, not the skill overall.

Warcrys are a common source of empowering.
