A pinnacle encounter represents the most difficult and rewarding content relating to a given map mechanic. They general feature a difficult boss. All pinnacle encounters can drop exclusive unique items.

The area is composed of one massive breach. Once the breach is activated, a timer will start ticking down. Killing monsters will extend the timer, and if it reaches zero the breach ends. If the exile prolongs the breach to the end of the area, they may fight the boss, Xesht, We Who Are One.
