Varashta condemned Kelari to the ritual of the barya, sentenced to serve as a Djinn.

Barya of Kelari is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Disciple of Varashta that grants the player the Kelari, the Tainted Sands skill, summoning an invulnerable physical-themed djinn minion that can be commanded to deal physical damage and inflict Critical Weakness. The djinn can also gain additional command skills by allocated connected passive skills:

• Kelari's Malediction: passively consumes corpses to summon Corpse Beetle minions, which do not attack but will rush targets and explode when commanded
• Kelari's Judgment: the owner and djinn channel together to create blades in the air that fall on release, dealing spell damage and inflicting Critical Weakness
• Kelari's Deception: deals physical spell damage in an area, summoning a clone which explodes when reused

Barya of Kelari and its connected passive skills do not have preceding small passives, therefore only requiring a single passive each to allocate.
