Persistent is used to describe buffs or effects that remain active indefinitely until they are manually deactivated or the required resource is depleted. These often take the form of auras or sustained buffs, which continuously consume a portion of Spirit to remain active. Unlike temporary buffs (which may have a duration and cooldown), persistent buffs are ongoing and do not expire as long as their conditions are maintained.
For instance, skills like Arctic Armour create effects that continuously grant defensive benefits. Persistent Minions, such as Skeletal Warrior, also use Spirit to stay active, respawning automatically after death.
Persistent skills cannot be added to the skill bar but can be toggled on and off in the Skills panel.
