Gore Spike is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Blood Mage that grants the player Bonus Critical Hit damage based on their current Life.

Note that this skill scales with current Life values and not maximum Life, resulting in a lower critical damage bonus while damaged, but allows to achieve a higher bonus using Overflowed life, such as from Life Remnants.

This critical damage bonus is not currently reflected in the character's tooltips but is functional.[Likely due to a bug][1]
