Ascendancy Notable Passive Skill
60% of your current Energy Shield is added to your Armour for
determining your Physical Damage Reduction from Armour [1]

Sacred Rituals is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Disciple of Varashta that causes a percentage of your current energy shield to be added to your armour value when calculating physical damage reduction.

Mechanics

Note that this effect does not actually grant armour and only affects calculations when receiving damage.
