Eldritch Empowerment is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Lich that causes non-channelling skills to deal more damage but adds an energy shield cost that does not interrupt recharge.

Mechanics

All non-channeling skills will gain an energy shield cost equal to 3% of the player's maximum energy shield. This includes skills with no inherent cost such as granted skills.

If the player has 0 maximum energy shield, no cost will be added.
