Chaos damage removes twice as much Energy Shield.
Damage from Bleeding and Poison bypasses Energy Shield to remove Life directly. SacrificeSacrificing is loss of a resource (commonly Life, Mana or Energy Shield) that does not count as taking damage. You cannot Sacrifice a resource you do not have. Mechanics

Note that energy shield must reach full to proc; it will not proc if energy shield is already full prior to obtaining this effect. When entering a new area, your current energy shield percentage is preserved. Everlasting Sacrifice will proc immediately if energy shield is already full.
