Asynchronous Trade is a mechanic that allows players to exchange non-currency items with other players without directly trading with them, generally those that cannot be exchanged through the Currency Exchange. Asynchronous Trade uses Merchant's Tabs, which unlike a stash tab is more akin to a populatable vendor window.
Asynchronous Trade can be accessed by talking to Ange, after inviting her to hideout. Asynchronous Trade is available in Act 4 through Ange.
Mechanics
Merchant's Tab
Items must be individually priced when placed in a Merchant's Tab. It is not possible to set a bulk price for the entire tab like with a Premium Stash Tab.
Gold tax
Although the seller incurs no additional fee, the buyer will need to pay an additional gold fee "based on the level of the item". The gold is not given back to the seller.
