Consuming Questions is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Acolyte of Chayula that causes mana leech to also recover energy shield, but disables energy shield recharge.

Mechanics

Instances of your mana leech grant an equivalent amount of energy shield recovery. If the mana leech is removed before its full duration expires (e.g. by reaching full mana) the remaining expected ES recovery is also removed. This can be avoided by using Idle HandsIdle Hands
