Life recharge calculates its value based on a percentage of maximum life, rather than converting the energy shield recharge value into life recharge. This also bypasses effects that disable energy shield recharge specifically, such as Zealot's Oath.
This effect also causes modifiers to "energy shield recharge rate" or "faster start of energy shield recharge" to also affect life recharge. It does not cause other effects related to energy shield recharge to affect life recharge, however.[1]
