Zealot's Oath is a keystone passive skill that applies life recovery from regeneration to energy shield if your life cannot be further recovered.

Mechanics

The value of excess life regeneration is applied to energy shield, but energy shield recharge is disabled. Energy shield gained this way is not affected by energy shield recharge rate.

Excess life regeneration occurs when your life is at full or overflowed, or your life cannot be recovered over a certain amount.

The excess amount applied to energy shield is equal to the amount of life that would be regenerated after accounting for other sources of life recovery or loss. For example, an character with 1000 maximum life, 10% of life recovered per second, and 100% increased life recovery rate would have 200 life regeneration per second, which would recover 200 points of energy shield per second while their life is at the maximum unreserved value.
