Drop-restricted items are items that cannot randomly drop from killing monsters.
This can include
- Quest items and rewards.
- Items that can only be created through crafting, including skill gems.
- Items that can only be dropped by a specific unique monster.
Legacy items
Legacy items (also called legacy variants) are drop-restricted items that were discontinued because the base item received an update or balance change which significantly changed the usage of the item. These versions of items will only exist in the leagues that occurred during or before the changes that made them legacy variants (meaning most will end up in permanent leagues).
Drop disabled
A Drop disabled item cannot drop at all. This is usually an item which is not yet in the game.
