Deflect

Deflection Rating provides a chance to Deflect damage from Hits, preventing 40% of the damage taken from those Hits and Ailments they inflict. Exact chance to Deflect also depends on the attacker's Accuracy.
Deflection is type of mitigation. It grants a chance to take less damage from a hit by a percentage. Like Evasion, Deflection chance is checked against enemy accuracy. Unlike Evasion, Deflection works against area of effect and unblockable attacks.
Mechanics
Deflection uses the same formula as Evasion to check Deflection chance. Unlike Evasion, there is no minimum or maximum Deflect chance.[confirmation needed]
