Merging Crossbow bolts have fragments that can hit the same target at the same time to combine their damage into a single Hit.

Merging is a property a crossbow skill can apply to its bolts which allows multiple fragments which hit a target to count as a single larger hit. This can affect calculations for some secondary effects like applying ailments.
